Ridderkerk

The school board of the Guillaume Farel Comprehensive School in the municipality of Ridderkerk, near Rotterdam in Holland, commissioned Lucien den Arend to make a proposal for an environmental sculptural project. This was for den Arend a good opportunity to put his landscaping capacities to work. It became one of his site specific projects which incorporates living, as well as industrial materials.
