SCULPTURE

Sculpture has been the main work of Lucien den Arend. His first works tended to be more plastic and combined organic and mechanical aspects of form. Since the sixties of the previous century his attention has shifted to a maximum of legible form - sculpture that can be seen from the outside as well as the inside - having no invisible inside.

His large sculpture complements its surroundings, and - as environmental sculpture - creating an environment in itself.

His public sculpture and site specific works can be viewed in this site - go to CITIES.

For a random overview of his sculpture - view sculpture 21.
