CITIES - sculptures and land art

Valloire

In 1989 town of Valloire, in the French Alps invited me to participate in the annual snow sculpture symposium - with my wife Marjo Heikkinen. The evening of our arrival, and after having seen the large snow block, the design was made inspired by an earlier snow sculpture in Grindelwald, Switzerland - we named this snow construction Jericho. Tõnu Maarand, an Estonian colleague, joined us as his team had one too many members and we could use a third member.
