Penttilä gardens became new home of the den Arend family in the spring of 2003
The sculptor has been working here and building his open air exhibition of monumental works - most of which have been in Finland since 1995. The sculpture park has been installed on the grounds in 2006. See the site devoted to sculpture park POAM Penttilä Open Air Museum.
On the grounds are various cottages which can be rented by artists or just traveling guests
