Heerhugowaard Holland - sculptures (site specific and public sculpture) in cities in Europe and America by Lucien den Arend - his site specific sculptures ordered by the city of Heerhugowaard
The city of Heerhugowaard in Holland chose Lucien den Arend's design to be realized in the new housing area, Vinex location.

On the limits of the urban area the work literally functions as a gate to the city. Arched stainless steel pipes form a play of lines much in the way of the construction of the red and blue chair by Gerrit Rietveld.
