Vantablack experiment

The stone to be photographed after the application of Vantablack. It must withstand a temperature of 752 degrees Celsius.
The stone photographed before the application of Vantablack.

No light can give an object visual form.
Light cannot give an object which has been coated with Vantablack visual form. You can see its shadow but not its shape. Almost 100% of the light is absorbed.

When this blacker than black coating is applied to an object such as a sculpture its plasticity will seem to disappear; the sculptural form is there, but all we can see is a black hole in the background of- and the surface on which it stands.
