ENVIRONMENTS AND LAND ART PROJECTS

Walburg Project
Zwijndrecht Holland

Walburg Land Art, The Netherlands.

1971|1973 earth, asphalt, meandering dike, bronze, high-tension pylon and pollard willows - 136x50x19m - Zwijndrecht, Holland

On the top of the asphalt spheroid form rests a bronze artifact - a sculpture acting as a focal point of the land Art Project. At that time I reasoned that this sculpture represented the human element.
