ENVIRONMENTS AND LAND ART PROJECTS

Walburg Project
Zwijndrecht Holland

Walburg Land Art, The Netherlands.

1971|1973 earth, asphalt, meandering dike, bronze, high-tension pylon and pollard willows - 136x50x19m - Zwijndrecht, Holland

At that time the landscape to the right was the agricultural area of H.I. Ambacht. Thirty years later the Volgerlanden became a large urban area. In that time I was asked to extend my work into the new situation. This became an enlarged land Art work, called X-ing.
