SCULPTURES UNDER CONSTRUCTION - URBAN LAND ART

The construction of one of Holland's first environmental sculpture projects.
1969 -The construction of the fountain's concrete base which would be continuously be covered by a film of water.

 

A large horizontal concrete slab was laid from which the water would cover the whole plane and flow into the surrounding gutter and led back to the pump pit from where it is pumped back into the transparent acrylic water columns (still to be mounted in the photograph).
