Land art and site specific sculpture - land art uses the environment and its scale as its material. Concrete art is expressed in material itself with which the artist introduces her non-representational objective. Public art can be viewed and accessed by observers.

SNOW SYMPOSIA

Grindelwald snow symposium sculpture.

After the sculpture was finished the temperature rose to above freezing. The interior of the work, consisting of softer snow, began to shrink more than the exterior surfaces and the four walls started bending inwards. The process stopped when they touched each other. In 1989 this inspired me to make a snow sculpture which we named Jericho.
