burnishing my public sculpture at the Overschie Library in Rotterdam
Working on a monolinear glass piece.

During my exploration of mass, plane, and line I wanted to make pure linear works on a transparent plane. After this it would be curved by heating it. The line will then have become spatial. I spent two days making phone calls all over Holland - trying to find a workshop where they could bend glass panes. I did find one - Glasbuigerij Bruining, right across the river; I could almost see them from my studio window.
