STUDIOS

The back of my old studio in the Nieuwstraat in Zwijndrecht, NL.
Discoid form 2, juncture and discoid form 3.

Plaster sculptures backlit by the sun are a beautiful sight as they somehow seem to be translucent - seen from the studio plaster workshop. The dark circular stamps are marks from tires on on which I used to lay them down. This photo was taken in the beginning of the eighties. The white sculpture, DF2 Juncture is still in my number 7 studio and will probably be destroyed when the building is sold. DF3 was destroyed by public works of the town of Zwijndrecht, where it was stored awaiting installation in the town hall. I had loaned it to the municipality at its request.
