The balcony offers an alternative route as well as a different view of the urban oasis.

I added this 'balcony' to the bridge for the purpose of giving the pedestrian an alternative to walking to the left around the parked cars by descending to the quay and walking on the same level as the water. The red wall helps focus his/her attention on the swamp cypresses in- and along the water.

At the other end of the wall is a staircase leading back up to street level.
