ART, SPECIFIC SITES

Site specific art has been the main focus of the sculptor. His first commissioned art work was a garden which required a site specific approach. Public art (sculpture) is part of a site - an environment - which is either a new or an existing site. As in the case of the photograph to the left, the whole site is art. The walls of the surrounding building form its demarcation.

The site specific art of the sculptor uses the qualities of a specific site and adds to them a complement in the form of art.
