Highway art - art in the road environment

highway A15 polar screen in the Betuwe

Land art as a point of reference which returns.
Art and the A15 - poplar tree line continues towards the horizon ("along" the highway).

In the caption above I put the word "along" in quotation marks because that's just my point. We have all crossed a railroad, for instance, twice or even more times during one journey and wondered whether it was one and the same railroad. That make us think of the route or course of each; usually a railroad is more or less straight. In the case of this poplar screen we can see that it is straight all the time we are driving and have it in sight.
