6th Moscow BiennaleEXHIBITIONS 2010 | 2020![]() Center of a Point is AsideProject by the Ekaterinburg Gallery of Modern ArtWe all live in a world of total space-time shift in an era of displaced concepts displaced boundaries, combined peoples and territories of substituted historical values ... Optics perception of a modern man is out of focus and produces a failure, crushing reality on the set of projections in the mind of the perceiver. Watching the phenomena of nature, we try to identify them with help of numbers and formulas, combining symbols in the theory and laws, creating norms. Do we understand the world better? Are the thing surrounding us stable and valid? Five minimalist artists from five different countries, explore the world by returning to the basic categories of the world order - point, line, space, light, rhythm, surface, weight. Using various artistic methods and means, they create several conceptual sculptural objects in the exhibition space, violating the usual optics perception of an audience.
