Henry Moore
Reclining figure - 1959-1964 - elm wood.
Since his other large elm wood reclining figures were sold to the United states (the first in the Albright-Knox Art Gallery) , it is the only large wooden sculpture by Henry Moore remaining in Great Britain. He was very fond of it and wanted to keep it.
