Henry Moore
I always enjoy seeing studio's of fellow artists; their unfinished works, trails and objects which they have around them tell me much more about her or him than any work after it is ready for exhibition or installation. A year before I visited Henry Moore's studios, Barbara Hepworth died in her home at Trewyn Studio. burning smoke-filled studio in St Ives'; she'd been smoking in bed. Her arthritis and recently having broken her hip possibly hindered her escape. Her studio and home was just opened to the public around this time; so I also wanted to visit her studio. St-Ives inspired me to name my first website after it.

Henry Moore also lived in St Ives for a short period before moving to Perry Green.
