MONUMENTS AND GRAVESTONES

Monument for OPAM sculpture park, in cooperation with the poet jan Eijkelboom.
OPAM monument (planting the Beatrix Tree)

As the specialists continued planting the wingnut tree, Queen Beatrix continued her tour in the sculpture park, which at the time was only located in Zwijndrecht. The next year my colleagues from Finland exhibited in OUTSIDE IN, the first sculpture biennale of what was to become a tradition of biennial sculpture exhibitions. Besides sculptures in OPAM, their two dimensional works were exhibited in De Rietgors Museum of Modern Art across the river in Papendrecht, which was a start for the cooperation with that city.
