the Marconiplein sculpture inspired den Arend to make a furniture - the question whether a table, a chair or a rug can be art does not occupy him - the lamp at the right is by Isamu Noguchi

the rug can be seen in the retrospective exhibition of the sculptor in the Kajaani Art Museum Finland in 1995 - the tapestry is a sequence of four projections of the Marconiplein Rotterdam sculpture
