Four Kremlin towers, the Troitskaya, Spasskaya, Borovitskaya, Nikolskaya and Vodovzvodnaya Towers used to be were decorated with Russian state organization symbols – enormous golden double eagles. But on October 25, 1935 the first Kremlin star was installed on top of the Spasskaya Tower (the small steeple that can be seen in the middle). These large stainless steel, copper and red glass vary in height from three to three meters and seventy five centimeters.
