Ede my site specific sculptures revisited (Lucien den Arend)

to the beginning of the text

Bald Cypress trees still on islands.

The bald cypresses will now actually need some erosion around their trunks. After the impression of the six islands has diminished, the water surface will be more unified and complement the long red wall and quay. The vertical movement of the trees, with their reflections in the water will, to a greater extent, form a counterpart for the horizontal movements of the surrounding retaining walls and buildings. The horizontal plane of the water surface is evident.
