The Amsterdam UMC medical center asked me to make a multiple, in an
edition of ten, of my Professor Durrer sculpture/memorial. The Durrer
Memorial is a monument located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, that
commemorates the contributions of Prof. Dirk Durrer to the field of
cardiology.
Dirk Durrer was a Dutch physician and researcher who
made significant contributions to the study of the heart's electrical
activity. He was particularly interested in the electrical signals that
regulate the heart's rhythm, and his research helped to lay the
foundation for the development of modern cardiac electrophysiology.
