Land art and site specific sculpture in the urban setting. Environmental sculpture is an art form which uses the environment as its material. Concrete art is, like any art form, human made and is therefore geometric in essence. Public art is art which can be viewed and accessed by the public.

Elliptical willow construction in Kangasniemi, Finland.
Coppiced willows, a reconstruction in Kangasniemi, Finland.

from the urban space in Netherlands to the Finnish forest

In 1994 the focal point objects were returned to me and the pollarded willows were transplanted on the public works lot of Terneuzen town. Unfortunately hey didn't make it but that was to be expected; I stored the focal points - solid stainless steel cones - and took them to Finland when we moved there in 2003. In 2006 I installed my sculptures on the grounds and named the totality POAM sculpture Park.

In the spring of 2012 we helped a Dutch friend to coppice his willows and the branches were the beginning of the new willow ellipse construction.
