Land art and site specific sculpture - land art uses the environment and its scale as its material. Concrete art is expressed in material itself with which the artist introduces her non-representational objective. Public art can be viewed and accessed by observers.

The first phase of the new wing of the Dordrecht Museum had just been completed. Sculptor Hans Petri one of the first land artists proposes that the museum pay attention to young art in the city. It was the just renovated exhibition hall Waarheid en Vrede where also my work was shown. The photograph above was taken during the opening. The recognizable people are Leo Marchand on the left. He was a painter and later he specialized in the restoration of paintings. In the center is Walter Nikkels, graphic designer for the museum at the time. To the right are my cousins Ad and Lenie de Bruin; their son, Marcel - my second cousin, was pitcher and later coach of the Rotterdam baseball team Sparta.
