2002 - trajectory for Rembrandt - curvature length 250m - 100 Salix Alba (white willow) branches and three oaks (before painting the tops of the willows white) Groeneveld Castle - Baarn NL |
The group of three oaks near the hillock in the pasture evokes Rembrandt's etching three trees of 1643. These were also oaks, but stood near Haarlem. The trajectory of the array of willows leads the eye towards this spot. |
