Roeselare Round - pollard willow circle in Roeselare, Belgium 25|10|2009 - 50°55'13.20"N 3°10'12.17"E
On my visit to Belgium, in the autumn of 2009, I encountered this Land Art project, a water hole in a field near Roeselare. The farmer had surrounded the pond with ten pollard willows. He must still use the branches, for they have been pollarded three years ago.
This circle reminds of Urban Land Art project in the garden of the Dordrecht Municipal Museum - pollarded circle in 1972.
