Henry Moore
It was in Italy where I met Henry Moore for the first time in
1970. On these pages I have written two accounts of my first
meetings on a terrace in the town of Forte dei Marmi and one of my
visit to his house, on the edge of town, a year later. The summer
after that I just telephoned with him because he and his wife Irina
had just arrived a day before I had to return home to Holland.
