Breast cancer month and the global pink ribbon movement.

Francis Stapel of the working group organizing activities for the international Breast Cancer Month had noticed that the sculpture projected itself as various shapes when moving along and around it. One of its identities resembled the well known "ribbon" and together with the global "pink ribbon movement", she had an idea to ask the municipality to have the sculpture painted pink for October.
