In the beginning of October, 2010 I traveled to Holland for the twenty fifth anniversary of the Pieter Janszoon Saenredam Project, one of my early land art works. It so happened that my site specific sculpture in Spijkenisse was also 25 years old. But my reason for paying it a visit was to see and photograph its temporary color - pink. The pink paint was a primer, because the sculpture was in need of a new coating. And I went to Spijkenisse to decide on a possible new color with Wim Mokveld, a representative from of municipality.
