letter of interest

Dear Committee,

Thank you for inviting me to submit a concept for a sculpture for the Collins Park in Miami Beach. I feel honored to be given this chance.

The United States used to be my home for thirteen years during my youth - my art studies started in California - so I don't feel like a complete stranger. Two of my works are in Florida: one at the Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and one in a private collection. On the following pages I will give my views on the location and motivate why I am submitting this particular proposal.

Yours Sincerely,

Lucien den Arend
