MONUMENTS AND GRAVESTONES

Monument for OPAM sculpture park, in cooperation with the poet jan Eijkelboom.
OPAM monument (Beatrix Tree) - Caucasian Wingnut (Pterocarya fraxinifolia) natural stone and radial text OPAM Sculpture Park, Zwijndrecht NL

The text is circular with the tree as its center. It reads "Ter gelegenheid van de opening van het Beeldenpark Drechtoevers op 5 juni 1996 heeft Hare Majesteit de Koningin deze boom geplant" (translated) "on the occasion of the opening of the Drecht-Banks Sculpture Park on June 5 1996 Her Majesty the Queen planted this tree".

The three rocks weren't actually in my design, but they have been put there by the public works department to keep their garbage truck driver from backing up over the stone slab.
