A
narrow footpath will be made between two rows of alder trees. Small
bridges will connect the tiendweg (path bounded by water on both sides)
to the shore. In time the roots of the alder trees will hold the soil.
Until then the woven willow mat will keep the edges of the tiendweg from
eroding.
