LAND ART ENVIRONMENTS AND LANDSCAPE PROJECTS
The stem cuttings started to grow within a week or two. In this stage I removed the bottom buds up to the top ones, which are to form the pollarded heads, so typical in the Dutch landscape. To the right is a work by Kees de Witt Wijn, who was one of the other exhibitors. He helped me with the pollarding of the "mother"-willows and installing/planting of these two works in the garden. My willows were to remain growing after the exhibition closed.
