SCULPTURES UNDER CONSTRUCTION - URBAN LAND ART

Here I am making the model for the acrylic water columns in my studio in Zwijndrecht.
1969-1970 - The lava stone field was undulated to remind us of he little river which used to flow here.

 

The gully which the lava surface form is still to be bridged by three white six meter long ducts which accentuate the undulating stones while at the same time they will create the impression that they could be tubes channeling water between the fountain element and the three trees and grassy fields.

But a problem arose as to the three bordered lawns and their espaliers:  the director, Dirk Jongeneel.....
