Walls in land art and other environmental sculpture

Walls in urban land art define an urban oasis in Ede, the Netherlands.
The vermillion-red wall complements the green of the row of Bald Cypresses which closes in on it from the north.

an urban oasis

The quay lies about three meters lower than street level and projects over the water, contradicting gravity and giving a layered effect to the vertical and horizontal concrete planes.
