VIDEO a flyover film of my earthwork in Flevoland

Next to the location of my Land Art project in Flevoland there is a landing strip for ultralight aircraft. This made it extra easy to organize a flyover so that I could video, as well as photograph, my work from above.

Lelystad and Land Art connected by the Flevopolder, a Dutch polder with various Land Art Projects and/or earthworks. In 1984 and 1985 Jean Leering contacted me about proposing a land art project for a site in Lelystad. Jean was chief advisor for the implementation of visual art in architecture for the Chief Government Architect at the time. This resulted in my earthwork homage to El Lissitzky. And of course an aerial view is indispensable in documenting this type of art - especially when the beholder is in motion.
