Dordrecht Holland

Merwelanden - environmental art - natural installation - by Lucien den Arend in the wetlands near Dordrecht

1990 4m grid of willow branches - the top 1m peeled - in an existing osier in the Merwelanden Dordrecht, Holland

merging grids, tribute to Cor Noltee introduced a regular and calculated rhythm because of its organization as a grid - a year later they were incorporated in the osier and cut down to a workable height by the osier workers
