Land art and site specific sculpture in the urban setting. Environmental sculpture is an art form which uses the environment as its material. Concrete art is, like any art form, human made and is therefore geometric in essence. Public art is art which can be viewed and accessed by the public.

Ede my site specific sculptures revisited (Lucien den Arend)

The red wall has a strong presence.

Coming from the north, I noticed that the eighty meters long retaining wall looked in good shape. I had been hesitant to go to Ede because of a newspaper article in 'De Gelderlander', a local newspaper in which a reporter had written a rather populist article, poking cheap fun at my work and telling about the supposed deplorable situation. Some reporters always tend to do anything be attract readers and ridicule things they don't understand.

The long red wall was free from graffiti because it had obviously been

site specific art in Holland and the sculpture and environments by Lucien den Arend - his site specific sculptures and environmental sculptures.
