Dirksland | my site specific sculptures revisited
It was a perfect opportunity for me to reenact an experience I had near Sheerness in Great Britain:
While driving towards Sheerness on a typical English country road, on my way back to Holland, after visiting the studio of Henry Moore in the seventies, I passed through an orchard. The trees had been planted in a grid pattern. The road traversed the orchard at a very sharp angle to north-south rows of trees.
