Arie Wols was een meesterlijk tekenaar en kunstschilder. Het was heel fijn dat ik een groep professionele beeldende kunstenaars onder wie Arie kon overtuigen om deel te nemen aan zoiets als een kunstmarkt. Wij waren nog jong en wilden ons werk tonen.
