Linear Sculpture - Sculpture in Lines

These monolinear forms are assembled from four circle segments each.

Monolinears - a double sculpture dividing two playgrounds.
Monolinears - a double sculpture dividing two playgrounds of a school in Zwijndrecht, Holland.

Each segment is part of an inscribed circle on one of the sides of a tetrahedron consisting of four isosceles triangles. In the centers of the ribs they will coincide and make it possible for me to use the four segments, which together will form a pseudo cubic curve.

When I made these monolinears, I made a third one in a lighter version, which I used for exhibition purposes. It is now in the collection of Queen Beatrix of Netherlands; she calls it slinger.
