Linear Sculpture - Sculpture in Lines

Spatial curves pass through a 90° angle at the four corners.
perpendicular cylinders - 500x500x50cm - a stainless steel sculpture demarcated by lines in the asphalt

Where I started out with this sculpture, which is a further development of my perpendicular cylinders series, I decided to refer to the linear white facades of the building and have the projection of the sculpture on the ground to be demarcated by 'sketched' lines which contain it. They were sawn into the asphalt and filled with thermoplastic material which is used to paint road lines. At the four corners of the sculpture the half circular ends of the cylinders connect letting their arcs curve around the 90° junctures of the half cylinders.
