Arch a sculpture near Rotterdam in old Rhoon

"Arch" a sculpture near Rotterdam in old Rhoon (Albrandswaard).
Approximating the effect the sculpture would have on  these surroundings.

Looking towards the town of Poortugaal, the site at the Schroeder van der Kolklaan was most acceptable to me. The bend in the road corresponded with the obtuse angle between the two planes, in which the legs (arch segments) of the sculpture lie, follow the directions of the edges of the road.

But after having presented my proposal to the advisory committee, which was very positive about the potential of the sculpture on this location, it became quit for some months. The committee had advised the board of mayor and aldermen, but other matters seem to have needed their attention.

After my contacting the secretary of the committee it became clear to me that another location in Rhoon was preferred.
