CITIES - sculptures and land art
Dordrecht|Dubbeldam
The Municipal Museum of Dordrecht financed Lucien den Arend and made it possible for him to reconstruct his pollard willow project after the museum had demolished it. He was given four a choice out of four islands in or near Dubbeldam, an ancient village now a part of Dordrecht. All of the little islands appealed to him, so he proposed to realize four projects - one on each island.
