"In een gebogen lijn worden over een lengte van tweehonderd meter honderd wilgenstaken geplant. De curve is aan de zuidzijde parallel aan de as van het laantje. Aan de andere zijde eindigt de boog haaks tegenover de middelste van de drie oude bomen. De afstand van de wilgen (vooraan op de foto) tot de laanbomen wordt bepaald in overleg met staatsbosbeheer."

trajectory for Rembrandt - 2002 - Salix Alba (schietwilg) - booglengte 250m - Baarn NL (gezicht naar net noorden)

"De bovenste meter van de slieten - boven mijn ooghoogte - wordt gewit om de curve tegen de donkerdere achtergrond af te zetten.

Ik stel voor om de wilgenslieten een maand voor de opening te plaatsen. Het uitzetten en het plaatsen in, met een grondboor gemaakte gaten, duurt twee of drie dagen.

Wanneer het project een enkel jaar blijft bestaan zal het, qua groei van de wilgen, er alleen maar beter op worden."
