SCULPTURES UNDER CONSTRUCTION

construction of steel sculpture near Rotterdam for the arch over the road at Rhoon, Albrandswaard in Holland
poort van Rhoon - one by one the parts are transported to the original definitive location.

Back on the original location along the Rhoonse Baan near Rotterdam, the sculptures elements were carefully lain out. One can already get an idea of the way the sculpture will form the gateway to the climatic buffer zone. With the oil refineries to the northwest and the wetlands areas - with the buffer zone to the south, the sculpture will symbolize the transition between the over industrialized Rotterdam area and one of the last natural spaces around the harbor area.
