SCULPTURES UNDER CONSTRUCTION

construction of steel sculpture in Rotterdam for the arch over the road at Rhoon, Albrandswaard in Holland
poort van Rhoon - 2008 - construction of a monumental steel sculpture for Rhoon, Albrandswaard in Holland - the location at the Rhoonse Baan.

The arc on the left is ready to be lifted to its base in the foreground. It will point towards the horizon in the same vertical plane as it is in the photo. Then the second arc will be mounted on the right base and will arc to the left, where it will connect to the first one. The road will follow the present tracks and pass under the perpendicular arches.
