SCULPTURES UNDER CONSTRUCTION

construction of steel sculpture in Rotterdam for the arch over the road at Rhoon, Albrandswaard in Holland
poort van Rhoon2008 - the first piling for the construction of a monumental steel sculpture for Rhoon, Albrandswaard in Holland - on the location at the Rhoonse Baan.

A trial positioning of one of the sculpture's bases was done. Guide plates have been welded to the inside of the top of the base.

The water in the excavated area id the polder level - meaning the polder's ground water. In these parts of Holland the ground water is always close to the surface of the land.
