Video

During my career I have documented my work and made many photographs or videoed my work during construction as well as after it was installed. My documents on video are now being digitalized and are finding their way to the internet and onto my site. Below are stills of videos of my works.

Click any of them to see a particular video or documentary film about my work as a sculptor.

Flyover land art project in Holland.
The earthwork is situated across from the Dutch road department test station in Flevoland; with a landing strip for ultralight aircraft next to my Land Art project in Lelystad it was fairly easy to organize a flyover so that I could video as well as photograph my work.

On the highest point the red platform is 7.70 m above the old sea bottom of the old Zuiderzee (since 1932 the IJsselmeer).

Here I am on top of the earthwork - the land art artist and his land art.

The walk on top of the earthwork reminded me of the films of the moon explorations. The more or less monochrome colors strengthened this evocative experience.

The shadow reveals the only artifact, which I incorporated in the earthwork - the large red steel platform crowns the end of the path, the highest part of the mound. Here it accentuates the summit

In the monumental flat Dutch polder setting the six by two meter platform seems delicate.

From the other side of the circuit, the earthwork seems like a ripple on the old sea bottom.
